DONNA CHRISTIE Voice Actress - Perfomer

Born in Vancouver, Canada, Donna was classically trained from the age of 11, winning honors in regional and national competitions. After graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre from the University of British Columbia, CBC CANADA swept her up, where she performed for two years in CBC’s DR. BUNDOLO'S PANDEMONIUM MEDICINE SHOW (three guys and me doing comedy routines before a live audience…like Saturday Night Live”), while guest starring on BEACHCOMBERS, LEO & ME, and other shows of the day.
In 1977, she was honored with the ACTRA AWARD (today it’s the ‘CLEO’) as Best Actress for her work on BUNDOLO. That took her to Hollywood…
In Hollywood, Donna Christie became best known as the voice of Iggy, co-starring with Mel Blanc in over 174 television episodes of HEATHCLIFF. She also voiced Cleo in THE CATILLAC CATS series and Pretty Bit and Potato Chip in the POPPLES series. And for three years as a regular on HEARTBEAT THEATRE and ADVENTURES IN ODYSSEY, she gave her voice to some of the series' most heartwarming and lovable characters.

Donna Christie's career in theatre was launched as the ingénue Marianne in Moliere's TARTUFFE. She then starred in a 50's rock musical production of Shakespeare's TWO GENTLEMEN OF VERONA. Among her favorite productions were her starring roles in Neil Simon's CACTUS FLOWER and LAST OF THE RED HOT LOVERS.

At the age of 19, Donna first starred on the Canadian television series, THE BEACHCOMBERS, which led to a wonderful journey with the CBC including LEO & ME, where she played opposite Michael J. Fox. She became a household face as the bubbly and effervescent spokeswoman in the Pharmasave commercials. In Hollywood, she earned her SAG card for the film A PLEASURE DOING BUSINESS.

After 20 years performing across Canada and the United States in stage, film, television and radio, Donna Christie took a hiatus to raise her four sons. And as they now reach for their own stars…
Donna Christie is back! She currently lives in San Francisco, with homes in Vancouver and Los Angeles.
